Get new friends.

Les's mistakes are legendary, but he is the best coach that LSU has ever had.

If we're comparing him to Saban, how many points does he get in the comparison totals for really wanting to be here, and not causing us to have to check flight logs at the Baton Rouge airport every December/January, and wondering about who he is meeting with?

I freakin love his brand of football too. The "we've got better players, we're stonger, deeper, don't need a bunch of trickeration, make your arse quit" brand. That brand of ball breeds teams that walk onto the field daring the opponent to even think they have a shot a beating his teams.

Althought boring at times, it does prove the point of Miles' record vs weaker opponents (unranked). LSU doesn't devise a gameplan that is based off of one player having to play extremely well. If the qb is having an off night, we can still move the ball enough to score. If the offense is not moving the ball, the special teams and defense will create field position.

It's a thing of beauty, and only one other team in the nation is built the same way. So we now have two dominant teams in the nation, and everybody else is trying to catch up.

Def agree with that. Bama plays the same type of ball we do, and that's why there is us, them, then everyone else.

You mean this brand of football?

We play a lot of people," defensive coordinator John Chavis said. "We don't recruit guys to redshirt. ... If you've recruited the right kind of people, they're not going to be here for four years anyway."

back on the Les Miles train? Arent we all?

no. there are some that will never accept him. EVERY TIME the Tigers struggle they surface.

Each to our own, but I'll take the successful guy who stayed over the successful guy who ran/walked away in a freaking heart beat and never look back.

While Les is not perfect and gives me some head shaking moments, none of that blinds me to the fact that he has helped give me the overall very most successful period in LSU history.

We all like/want what we like/want, but when we can't "accept" the most successful we ever had who, at this point in time, leads BCS/SEC football in wins since his arrival...well, lets just say that the problem is not with LM but with us.

There is no way, NO WAY, that LSU loses to Pedophile State University if we don't play the game in a mud pit. Might as well have played that game on a beach

I agree completely but isn't this one of the wins that Penn State will be forced to vacate? If so, wouldn't it be erased from Les' loss column?

No. Doesn't work that way.

Penn State having to vacate the win doesn't eliminate our loss. It's not a forfeit.

I just really want to know the criteria. I was a little thrown off by the addition of Troy.

With the exception of Troy, the list includes come from behind wins over teams that where ranked at the time of the game and LSU trailed in the 2nd half.

Most of the games listed LSU trailed in the 4th quarter

#15 Arizona State: trailed in the 4th quarter
#4 Alabama: trailed in the 3rd quarter & won in OT
#15 Auburn: trailed in the 4th quarter & won in OT
#11 Florida: trailed in the 4th quarter
#8 Tennessee: trailed in the 4th quarter
#9 Florida: trailed in the 4th quarter
#17 Auburn: trailed in the 4th quarter
#17 Alabama: trailed in the 4th quarter
#14 Tennessee: trailed in the 4th quarter
#10 Auburn: trailed in the 4th quarter
Troy trailed in the 4th quarter
#12 Florida: trailed in the 4th quarter
#5 Alabama: trailed in the 4th quarter
#2 Alabama: trailed in the 4th quarter
