For the LSU football program next year.

Hopefully that would be good (and bad) enough to expedite Alleva and Orgeron’s exit without completely taking the program down with them.

7 wins is enough for an extension based on who LSU lost and how young they are

Bull shite. O gets no excuses after this year. 10-2 is the minimum.

Unfortunately I don’t think 9-3 gets him fired, but he absolutely can’t regress from this year.

Actually if you want to get real about it.

12-0 would be the best outcome. Considering we play 12 games. So to say 8-4 or 7-5 might be the best outcome is false.

Now to say you think their record will be 8-4 or 7-5 is acceptable. I’d say your high but allow you to entertain those thought.

were you one of those posters that thought we wouldn't win any conferences games after the Troy loss?

Strong defense may save him I predict 8-4 and they make enough excuses to give him one more year, just hope we get a new AD before we hire a new coach.

No, but I didn’t expect them to have 9 wins either tbh.

I’m kinda ruling that out as a possible outcome. Aren’t you?

If he couldn’t win 10 with this season’s schedule, you think he can win 12 with next?

When dandy does his project the win loss at the beginning of next year I’ll always go with 10-2.

I didn’t say we were gonna win 12. I was merely point out his incorrect delivery and kind of being an arse. Sorry. I didn’t mean to confuse.

With that being said I’d seriously be more surprised with 5-7 that I would with 12-0.

I don’t expect 5-7 at all. Aranda’s D alone should win more than 5.

I agree, I think Ed makes it to coach the 2019 season (with the dead money being paid) unless it’s a complete collapse. We need to kick Aleva to the curb and hire a great AD to give him a year to find his guy.

Yeah I’ve been kind of thinking the same. Alleva hired O and if he gave Miles that much rope you gotta think his own hire is gonna have some as well.

Plus, something that hasn’t been discussed is Alleva’s got Wade now too. Now I know someone else reeled that one in but it was under Allevas watch. How you gonna fire an Athletic director the just brought basketball back to LSU.

Even deeper thought....would the people that hate Alleva and EdO sacrifice Wade to get rid of Alleva and subsequently EdO too?

Not me. I would shocked beyond belief if we (new QBs, new RBs, new WRs and now a rebuilt line plus the losses on D) go 12-0.
I would be disappointed but not at all shocked if we lost 7.

Don’t think we will be 5-7. But I also think 8-4 is the absolute ceiling for next year’s team.
