He needs to retire. I'd rather he retire now and we get somebody that can make great use of the talent he has assembled in the 2014, 2015, and will finish with in the 2016 class. We can make a legit run next year especially because we'll be getting defensive depth and a loaded and experienced offense.
HC - Patterson, Gundy, Dabo, Feunte,
OC - Wilson
DC - Aranda, Shoop, Venables, Ed O
We'll also need a QB coach.

I'd like to see the passing attempts vs other SEC schools. We've had plenty of games with 10-15 attempts

Great job on the numbers. Can't hide or skew facts.

We won the Cotton Bowl at the end of 2010.
Cotton Bowl of the 80's >>>> Cotton Bowl of the 2000's. Not really a major bowl anymore.
Only reason that bowl is NOW part of the playoff 6 is that it's played in Dallas stadium and Jerry Jones.

Les is 'winningest' coach in LSU football history ...
and Princeton has most NCs in college football history.
History being key word ... how relevant is Princeton.

How did that turn out on Saturday night against a 5-4 team that was blast by Toledo?

I don't think it works like that.
The 2 times we passed for less than 50 yards is included in the 37 times we passed for less than 150 yards. The 20 times we passed for less than 100 yards is also included in the 37 times we passed for less than 150 yards.
But it's still pretty sad for NFLU to have such poor passing stats.

Ah I see, I whiffed on that one

I think from the stats that 3 of the 5 two loss seasons came after Saban in the first three LM years.
What I'd like to see is the W-L by month and immediately after the Bama game. Seems that's where the wheels come off.

Thanks for those stats.
Im old so my years blend together. Which year was it that we ended up having to start lee as the 3rd string qb? Was that the year perriloux was kicked out and andrew hatch got hurt? Or was that the year where zach whoever decided to play pro baseball? I dont think its fair to judge les including it.
We had a 4 year period were it seemed everytime we had a qb signed somethjng happened.
PS i doubt we would be having all these threads if we beat bama in new orleans

Great numbers, lotsa work there. Before they mean anything, I need to see those stats compared to other SEC West coaches, SEC coaches, and national coaches. And don't give me the "talent isn't equal" speech, because that is a subjective measure. I'm not arguing the point being made, but without the other numbers, this is largely meaningless.
