Has it been discussed why Guice missed the week of practice after this incident was reported?

If he sought counsel before his latest comments, he needs to get a new attorney.

Are you sure you're up to date on what he said hours ago?

quote:

During his weekly appearance on Baton Rouge-based ESPN program Off The Bench, Orgeron released a statement in response to allegations that he lied to investigators leading up to the release of the Husch Blackwell report or LSU’s internal investigation.

“Yeah, first of all, I was deeply upset when I watched the video Mrs. Scott’s testimony decimal. It was the first time that I’ve heard of all the horrible details of the encounter with Derrius (Guice). I’m sick about what she went through. Heartbroken. No person, woman, mother or grandmother should ever be addressed in such a disgusting manner. It is 100% unacceptable.

“I’m devastated that it happened to her. I want Mrs. Scott, her family and others to know that. I completely cooperated with Husch Blackwell investigation and I will continue to cooperate with LSU’s internal investigation.

“As I told them, I truthfully do not remember speaking with Miss Scott three years ago but, I do know Mrs. Scott deserves to be heard and admired for her courage. I will continue to be committed to a culture of integrity and compliance.

“Out of respect for Miss Scott, all survivors, and the integrity of the university investigation, I have to further questions of this nature to the university.”

The last paragraph is the MOST he should have said if anything at all.

Unless he used his personal cell, phone records showing she talked to someone at the LSU Athletics office won't help. The only way O gets this pinned on him for sure is if Guice or someone else who was on the call rat him out. Which may happen.

I'm pretty sure they can trace which phone it came from within the athletic office.

If that conversation happened, you certainly wouldn't forget it. Let's be real. Don't know why a 74 year old grandmother would make up that story, and Guice's recent past only confirms it. O has a voice you don't mistaken... just saying.

The article I cited above indicates that Ms Scott said Sharon Lewis in the Athletic Dept was also on the call. Has she said anything about it?

[/quote]Scott says she called WWL, the Advocate and the Times Pic to try to get her story told but no one called her back. #lalege #lagov

That is exactly the problem. Inappropriate places to report an incident.
If a law was broken go to the police. If they don't respond there is no evidence of a violation.

If university standards or NCAA standards are contravened, report the incident to the responsible agency. If there is no action your story has been judged as a mere personal violation of the standards of one person by the other in a two person interaction. Go whine to other old people at the old folks home about how young people no longer dahdidah.

The only reason to go to the media is to attempt to get the non involved population to join you in a vendetta against a political faction that you resented from before the time of the incident. If there was something worthy of media investigation, they would have contacted you for comment. Since you contacted them first, they have correctly judged your intent to swing public agreement to your efforts to damage the university or its oversight agency in the NCAA. It's a benefit to the system when the cancel culture is cancelled, and it is pretty obvious that is what has occurred.
If you can't handle locker room kidding, stay out of locker rooms, bars, the superdome, fast food establishments and city streets in general. If your arse is so delicate that you are unable react intelligently to the venues for which you must provide security, you are unqualified to provide that security. Go be a hall monitor for a retirement community activity center. The standards of the 1950's no longer apply.

This is the part that fricks up her story.
As though, he dropped his pants and started jerking off in the tunnel before the team runs out on the field.

When and where then? She's an LSU football fan? Otherwise, how did she know he was a "star" LSU football player if he was out of uniform? None of the women and half the men that even follow LSU can identify any recent LSU players outside of Burrow.
