Can anyone else try to come up with a better response? I am not buying a failed bunt cost a team that everyone here claims is CWS bound a game they lost by seven runs. I really would like to know....and if that is the case, I suggest your team practice some bunting

you got the answer. You want me to lie and say you're worthy of a National seed?

Van Horn is an outstanding coach. He's been to the College World Series three times (twice with Nebraska, once with Arkansas) this decade. He did good things at Northwestern State.

These "best coach in the (fill in the blank)" arguments are usually pointless, but it's silly if anyone suggests he's not a terrific coach. This Arkansas team wins because it's fundamentally sound and highly teachable, not because it's loaded with future all-stars.

Agreed Carl. Still think we let one slip away yesterday in Game 1.

Well...I would like an answer to my question and more rational excuse as to why you lost by seven runs would be cool too.

How did we lose to Alabama in '97, 28-2?

That might even be more rational than freaking 7 runs.

I would feel much better had we thrown Bertuccini and Ott yesterday and lost 5-4

Thanks Carl. At least you did make sense. You sound rational and someone that would agree Arkansas is not "thankful" for the rain or trying to save face as well in this last game. I personally am looking forward to going to the game this afternoon and seeing a great baseball game between two great teams.

Both teams have 2-3 guys left that can shut you down or get hit all over the yard...today will be interesting...

As for the whole three starters thing, if you have so called third starter, why is it up for argument on your board?

No In-between!

Maybe the weather will hold out, hour-by-hour on weather.com only 15% rain at 1:00pm.

What's the deal? I ask a few logical questions and everyone runs away from the thread without an answer? Too much thinking required?

Both are good teams but certainly on this board you will bet LSU is better. At the top of the SEC anyone can beat anyone on any given day, that's why they play the game.

Let's hope for a good game! And that LSU scores at least one more run than you guys.......
