All of your post is accurate, but let's add something else:

The toothless, impotent, weak assed, never won a motherflucking court case in their life NCAA PURPOSELY pawned this over to the IARP because they knew they couldn't nail Wade with any ACTUAL FACTS.

At one point yesterday (or maybe Wednesday) I counted 9 Will Wade threads and 5 more bitching about Woodward on the front page. We need an entire board for those people to go bitch. I don't like the situation, but it's not changing.

Most people would, except for the fact....

LSU is currently the worst program in the SEC (that's not subjective. LSU has the fewest conference wins and worst winning % over the course of McMahon's 3 seasons)

The coach who led LSU to its most consistent period of winning over the last 30 years is 2 hours west of BR, preparing to take his current team to their second straight NCAA Tournament...and looking to get a bigger job.

The "fix" for the awful basketball program is obvious to EVERY basketball fan (not the chime-in's who don't really care about basketball, or the contrarians who take an illogical position simply for the sake of taking an illogical position). Fences would have to be mended and egos swallowed, but it wouldn't be an impossible task to try to get Wade back.

Unfortunately, LSU has an AD who isn't even looking to fix the truly awful state of the basketball program, let alone consider bringing back the guy with a career .700 winning % who actually won at LSU. He's rather piss on his customer (fan) base and tell them it's raining. THAT is why there are numerous Wade posts...because evidently the LSU AD is totally clueless to reality.

You could even go a step further. Scott's actions have told you since day 1 he doesn't support men's basketball. He did not support the coach he inherited despite his consistent success.

Then when he finally got a chance to fire the guy he didn't like, he made a bad hire and has been AWOL since announcing the new coach. Now when it is obviously the time to move on and do everything possible to fix the relationship with Wade before he is coaching against us or find another replacement, he is admitting that the school has failed to support the team through NIL. The admission that he's actually making is hollow given the recruiting classes that we have landed in MM's three cycles.

The message from this AD has consistently been, I do not care about men's basketball and have no interest in seeing it succeed. Actions speak louder than anything he has said.
