I am not a fan of the number 7 tradition. However, if this turns out to be the case I will not be against it. Its better than giving to a skill position player and then he doesn't live up to the hype. Will is going to dominate this year at LT.

I do not like the number 7 tradition and would like to see it changed or eliminated all together. Hence my comment.

It should, but he did just change to #4.
IF he gets #7, dominates this year, legit Heisman contender next year, top 2 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft… could we all agree that the #7 tradition is here to stay?

Some people only think Giles counts apparently. He didn't even wear it for a full season. O changed his number to 12.
If you are trying to put 7 on Boutte, he wasn't injured wearing #7.
If you didn't like Chark, who then? The biggest names on that roster were freshmen. Other than Guice or Jackson. Devin White broke out that year but not before that year.
