Lol wut? Maybe in the uga and arky games, both top 10 teams we beat by 30+ pts.

From the words of Les, "didnt we take care of yall already?"

Sounds like a good team but you're wrong about the offense.

for clarity:

Your offense didn't usually get going until the other team's defense wore down in the second half of games.

Go look at our first and second quarter point disparity, you haven't a clue.

quote:

LSU was totally out coached by Saban in the 2011-12 BCS C.G. because you couldn't complete a pass.

So Saban was completely out coached on Nov 5th, right?

quote:

Cam Cameron will change all that in the next couple of years

I expect a vast improvement and frankly a balanced offense will make LSU a very, very, very formidable opponent for any tam in the country, but let's not act like we didn't score 500 points on 5000 yards of offense in 2011, because we did.

Bama wasn't 21-0 better than LSU. However, Saban was 41-0 better than Miles in that game.

The only thing that kept it close was LSU's magnificent talent on defense, but they finally wore down in the fourth quarter and gave up the only TD in the game.

For an offense that averaged over 40 points a game, you would think they could have crossed the 50 at least once in that game.

Miles must be as stubborn as a billy goat not to try the other QB.

Seriously, bama was not by far the better team that year.

This.

LSU and Bama were very obviously the only two teams worthy of playing for the title, everyone else was well below. A best of ten series would have been better.

Consider that LSU thoroughly crushed the winners of every other major bowl, no other team ever did that in the history of the college game.

LSU was more than 38-24 better than OSU.

Looks more like an observation than a study.

So basically when our offense scores more points our team does well? :mindblown:

I really really hope that this "study" didn't take 6 years. I was expecting an interesting read involving a statistical analysis LSU's offense. Some insight into the game and our team. But, you failed to deliver.

2011- 35.7 PPG is very misleading given the amount of points put up by the defense and special teams.

The other thing that stuck out was only 2 OL have been drafted since 2008. I don't think people realize how good we could be with a decent offense.

haven't had an offense for the last five years, so that makes. Quote. +1. Yea even in 2011 defense scored a td per game we'd get 2 field goals a punt return every other game for Td. Late in the game when the other team was tired we bulldoze them and score 2 late td's.
