This creates the house-of-cards ranking for OSU. This win is no better than our 50-7 win over A&M.

It’s worse because everyone knows A&M would beat the shite out of Cincinnati

No way Cincinnati drops out with another loss. They dropped 1 spot with a 10 or loss.

Virginia I do agree will drop out of they lose to Clemson.

because the team’s behind them are even worse?
4-loss USC for example. Lost to freaking BYU and got waxed by Oregon.

Realistically, it's probably because they are playing Memphis again this week and the committee wants the winner of that game to be ranked somewhere around #15-20 and the easiest thing to do is keep both teams ranked around there this week and then move the loser out next week.

It would be harder to explain having Cincinnati fall completely out of the rankings this week only to jump back in to 15 next week if they beat Memphis.

Look for Cincinnati to drop only a spot or two after there second straight loss while Georgia will drop out of the top 10. Same goes for Wisconsin probably dropping only to 10.

Wonder how this would look using A/P rankings since CFP committee controls the "evidence" with those rankings.
