We could get away with that score against lesser competition, but it’s going to be a real struggle to get back in this against these squads.

I unfortunately have to agree with this…beam has been our Achilles heal since she took over
there’s absolutely no reason to be starting this season off like this two weeks in a row

I just rewatched her beam routine. With the two big wobbles and bobbles, her score is fair. Her routine was very shaky.

Something has to be done about beam. Bring in someone that can pin point skills that need to go and be replaced with something that can score well. Four years of this is enough.

And it’s even more frustrating when we hit, what, all but one beam routine during 101? I think 13 of 14 hit or something like that. This is nerves. It’s not training or endurance. Just nerves.
That being said, Gnat needs to find a way to prepare them and get them prepared to perform despite nerves. And skill selection, while better, is still an issue.

LSU has a a floor lineup, no Drayton?
Ok lineups are starting to piss me off a little

she stuck 2 of her landings cold…thought it was at least a 9.9

Judges are stingy with first routines, should have at least been a 9.875 for Ballard
Posted on 1/13/24 at 3:43 pm to LSUmeauxjeaux
At least a 9.9, she got screwed.

No Drayton is crazy to me

9.85 for Livvy, still a 10 in my book

That was the best full in I’ve seen KJ do. So good. Too bad she stepped forward on the last pass because it wasn’t really UR.

Great from KJ, endurance looks great at the end
Posted on 1/13/24 at 3:48 pm to BigB0882
That should be a 10 for Aleah. Would be at home for sure.

Ballard only getting a 9.825 just further proves the judges are judging the spot in the lineup and not the actual routine

The first two UCLA floor scores seemed low too. Would have had Sierra higher than Livvy

LSU with their strongest floor lineup easily clears any floor lineup in the country when hitting.
