Actually, that park is not much bigger then the Box. Its simply the wind that makes that park play bigger then what it really is.

Rosenblatt's location (on the hill, with the wind more of a factor) accelerated the number of home runs for most of the CWS history. This is the opposite of that.

Rosenblatt gave. TD Ameritrade takes away.

That 41-year thing is as much a reflection of how much Rosenblatt helped power hitters as it is a look at how this new park hurts them.

Probably the new park was built in the opposite direction to Rosenblatt's. Winds are blowing towards the homeplate insteads.

Not as much fun to watch. Why do this? The bats are already dumbed-down. Why make it more difficult to score?

The seam reduction on the balls is going to make a big impact next year.

And that's only half of the change.

The ballpark was not built only for college baseball.

I agree, I rather see some longball, but its a minor league park.

I bet without the annual CWS they wouldn't have gotten the support necessary to build a new stadium...

It's not a minor league park at all. Actually they built two. The minor league team didn't want to play there.

The omaha storm chasers play at Werner park.

They wanted the Omaha skyline to be visible over center field wall

I'll say it again...after the bats were nerfed they fences should have been brought in by at least 10 feet...
