In the end Shaq was the voice of reason. It was handled poorly and he does deserve respect. Alleva should fall on this sword immediately.

I'd like a list of the decision makers.

So IF the decision to keep CLM was in fact made in the 3rd quarter, our AD was lying in his press conference when he said, several times, that he would not & did not make his decision till the season was over. Shocking.

Come on, stop falling for the same media dipshits that got all of this started in the first place.

There was no 3rd quarter meeting of the Redneck Illuminati Round Table.

That is such a crock, IF and I do say IF, they had their HC in waiting secured, it would have been a done deal.
I think that Sexton knew of the discontent and basically was able to create massive drama simply in order to increase the other coaches salaries. Those guys aren't going anywhere. Wait and see what happens to about 4 coaches salaries after the bowl season for teams that did not have Championship seasons. They were all contacted and all played along to boost their bottom lines, they would be stupid not to.
The chance that LSU could have simply crawfished out of a deal with another top tier HC just because someone was feeling wishy washy after watching another very painful offensive game plan is down right silly. I do believe LSU was testing the waters but it went public and the losers in all of this is the university and the handling of the situation and when it is all done, nothing will have changed.

I hope he gets $15 mil and we find no replacement.

So if les is let go, you hope we don't get another good coach that will make LSU even better?

What a shitty LSU fan you are. Your name sounds about right.
