Alabama completes a 31 yard pass to Ruggs, covered by Freshman Jay Ward.

Because Kary Vincent was knocked out of the game after a cheap shot.
Bama goes on to score a touchdown.
Absolutely critical play in the game.
The O-Lineman should have been Ejected AND Suspended.

The fact that Bama NEVER had the ball in the second half with a chance to tie or take the lead speaks to how much LSU controlled that football game beginning to end.
It was awesome.
Definitely wish we hadn’t given up the garbage TD with a minute to go tho.

Aranda's tendency to rush only 4, and sometimes only 3, on these types of critical plays absolutely drives me nuts.
At a minimum, disguise with 2 more at the line and send a 5th.
I just don't understand it. Giving Tua 3+ seconds in the pocket is a very good thing if you're a Bama fan. He's just too accurate with no pressure. We showed a lot of the game just how inaccurate he is with just about any pressure.

We gave up a lot of 3rd and longs and some 4th downs also.
There was one where we had 4 guys behind the WR about 20 yards downfield..I cant remember when it was ...but all I was thinking was..why couldn’t 1 of them been playing in front of the 1st down marker? That stuff needs to be addressed.

That drive was infuriating.
We gave up 3rd and 19, 4th and 4, and 4th and 2 (for a TD)
We could have ended the game with any of those stops

It works far more often than it doesn't, we just remember the ones that don't work.

Yeah, I believe it was Queen who sank past the first down marker on a 3rd and 14. The WR came from outside so he never saw him in his field of view until it was too late. Can't have that happen in cover 2.

I hate to be that guy, but Kary Vincent came back and played after that cheap shot. He went out of the game after landing awkwardly on an incomplete deep ball to Jerry Jeudy in the middle of the 3rd quarter.

Before the game I made a post on here about how I trust this defense more to get a stop on fourth and short versus third and medium to long.

It was a screen pass. For some reason LSU has generally had problems with screens.
