Aside, I’m still friggen pissed we lost to them last year at home. We had two weeks to prepare. They were a mediocre team with a one-dimensional offense (running QB) and we had no answer after getting torched by a running QB the game before. Made it worse that I drove down and paid a ton on tickets for that pitiful performance.

I honestly don't understand why Bama fans, any seemingly everyone else, including my dad, thinks Alabama football is the end all, be all King of everything. It is a college university that has ups and downs like every other college in the country. I'm sick of their entitlement.

Saban didn't fall into their laps.
Saban wanted to come back but Bertman told him we had a coach.
This will be denied until the day Jesus returns but it is the truth.
Mal Moore refused to leave Florida until Saban said yes, to Alabama.
Skip could have done that, and paid out Miles' contract and got him back here. He didn't.
Fire away.... But Skip let Alabama get those natties instead of LSU.
It's why I always have to look the other way when I see ole Skipper boy.
I know too much.

I agree. I have heard this also. EverytimeI see or hear Skip Bertman, I still get pissed at him. I also understand Skip said "well, I dont want you to leave either," and let him walk.

… when we beat them by 14 this year then maybe I will laugh but last year Bama lost to Vandy and a high school-level Oklahoma team and yet blew our doors off of us after ESPN set up the nation for the renewal of this rivalry, we had like 50 recruits in the stands, etc. they have our number, y’all. Let’s beat them three years in a row before we start feeling superior.
