Call BS on that the WVA fans we encountered where all great, even after the game. If one of our idiots got spanked he more than likely was the problem. We would have beat him up for you.

Man I knew it. After reading all the pregame stuff about how bad WV fans are, I predicted that some poor LSU fan was going to get a beat down. This is a sad story.

This has already been debunked. It was an exact rendition of an incident that happened in St. Louis 4 years ago. All they did was change the names and created a fake FB page. Go to eersports.com and they have a complete thread on it proving it is a completely false. There is no purple lot in Morgantown. Someone is upset that WVU fans treated LSU fans with respect and didn't get to hear the horror stories from LSU fans that they were anticipating.

Where is the newspaper article? Where is a copy of the police report? Administrator at eersports.com checked with Morgantown police department and there was no incident reported. Plus, why would the victim be sent to Pittsburgh to trauma center when he would be literally yards away from a top rated trauma center at WVU Ruby Hospital? This incident did not happen and someone is trying to spread this as the truth. This incident did not happen. Period!

He lives n Pitt. that is why he was transported there. It is fact he is a friend of mine, and don't care if you loser WV people believe it or not, it happened.

LOL come on fella's all this is missing is a porter potty flying down a hill while being assaulted by piss balloons. Pot stirrer's just showing up. I sincerely doubt an incident of this magnitude could happen and firstly we're not hearing any media reports, and secondly no WVU fans saw it. Our fans can be pretty hard on ourselves, if this was true it would have been exposed really early on.

Overwhelmed by all the posts, prayers, and concerned friends- thank you all, I cannot say thank you enough. I just left the hospital to try to let us rest. After several sorts of trauma/ER teams at UPMC Presbyterian (I think there were 6) examined Marcus up and down, they've deducted that 1) He has no brain injury, though his frontal bone is fractured right in the middle of his forehead, yet it will heal on its own, 2) He has a shattered bone in his eye socket that needs replacing with a couple of screws and a plastic plate? but his vision is good, 3) His nose is severely broken but will somehow be straightened out, 4) His shoulder is NOT broken but feels as though it is, and 5) No one can break his sense of humor. So many precautions were taken and tests were done today that the surgery will be tomorrow. I am very sore but holding a precious boy on my lap, one in my tummy, and the other in my heart. These boys are my life that I cannot imagine without them. Marcus' first words when his friends walked in, "HOW 'BOUT THEM TIGERS?!"
