3 of the 8 teams in CWS are SEC schools.

And LSU is sitting at home. Paul Mainieri WAS known for his teams’ late-season-improvement. Then, PM started to cry, hurt and struggle. PM even started to virtue-signal. PM lost his fans with all this mess. PM ran out of goodwill and support. LSU Baseball Fans will never support a coasting-HC. PM retired, and the majority of supporters know it was past time for him to step down. Adios PM

Wow. From a thread on how many SEC teams were in the CWS to a total shitfest on a coach that is no longer our coach. He's gone, if you hate him that much take a deep breath, pour a strong one and save it for the melt over the new coaching hire.

Three teams strong enough to give us a 1-8 SEC start.

so we have to stop all our disappointment with a coach we didn't like as soon as he's gone?

What about a coach we love - do we have to stop loving them on the day they retire too?

I remember when people were saying the SEC would get like 5-6 teams in.

Arkansas, Ole Miss would have been 5. Florida was another potential. I don't remember who South Carolina was paired up with.

You don't think the team this year improved as the season went on? Regardless, Paul is gone, so what's the point of this post?
