Need to check this guy’s medical history. This could easily be a pre-existing condition.

What does the average police person know about reading radiological images? Not saying they arent real. Just trying to point out that fractured vertebrae could mean just about anything coming from non medical sources.

i'm sure they didn't make it up and are simply relaying what the doctors report says.

MRI/xrays were taken friday.

radiological images are read by Doctors. Doctors write medical reports about what they have seen in the radiological report. Police officer reads medical report.

I guess he thinks the cop did his own patient exam?

Shady's insurance company and these kids Homeowners Insurance companies will take care of that.

They will claim that they intentionally hit the kid, but did not intend to cause the damage to try to get HO coverage.

So you witnessed this event. Why have you not offered your testimony yet?

True..... to an extent.

A hairline fracture is a break, that is correct.

But to have 4 vertebrae actually pulverized...... beyond a doubt, that is broken.
It's true, absolutely. There is no difference between a fracture and a "break". It's just that fracture is a medical term and a "break" is the colloquial term for a fracture.

There is NO difference whatsoever.

What I'm getting at, is that a fracture is something that, given time, will mend on it's own.
Not the case. Calling something a fracture vs a break has nothing to do with how it will heal.
quote:

My dad's L1-L5 vertebrae are forever one. It's one big vertebrae now.
He had to wear a brace and had 2 stainless steel braces wired into his spine for 2 years.
They have since been removed but he still has them. And yes, he's in "the field."

It sounds like your father had a blowout fracture of his vertebral bodies at L1-L4.

I know this is all nomenclature, but I just wanted to dispute the notion that there is a difference between a fracture and a break. There is no difference.

Let's just hope BR police are big LSU fans. Which they are.

Otherwise this does not look good.
