Yeah, no rhythm. Long way to go, and really early in the season. Need Javonte to be better at controlling the pace of games that are played against chaotic teams.

Horribly undisciplined, all the way around. This seems to be an annual issue. Lots of talent, good offensive sets, and plenty of points scored, but no defense, constant fouling, tons of turnovers leading to cheap points, and not enough outside shooting.

C'mon, Wade. Let's have a little discipline out there, and it'll be just fine, even without the outside shooting.

With those abysmal stats, we totally deserved to lose. That being said, they still only lost by 2 with a chance to tie or win at the end.

Need a true point guard. Don’t have one this year so going to have to take the good with the bad at times. Most teams do not play like VCU or have the experience that they do. 26 turnovers and 25 fouls and lost by two. There were some positives

Refs put some home cooking calls on LSU the whole game.

A lot of good things to take away from this. That was a tough away venue. Crowd was going crazy. As you mention 25 turnovers with 25 fouls, calls went home team’s way........and we were still in the game with a lead under a minute. We would have won that game had it been in December I think.

No flow on offense, no set plays other than high screens that VCU defended well. Sloppy arse passes and turnovers. They better learn to put their bodies on players and block out because they are small. They can be decent but not playing the way they did tonight.

And still lost by only 2 on the road against a team that is likely to be a 5/6 seed. This team has a bright future.

It actually was pretty entertaining and the refs let them play the last two minutes after blowing the whistle constantly for the other 38 minutes.

Sure there were positives. I mentioned this team can score plenty of points. But LSU, even with Waters, turned it over way too much, and committed too many fouls. It's only more difficult now without Waters.

It's easy to say "well, we only lost by two", but the flip side is that they didn't have to lose this game, if they had only fouled a little less, and taken a little better care of the ball.

Those should be correctable issues. But this has been going on for more than just a game. Hope they get it fixed, or greatly improved.

You mean you had the chance to go see your team play way the frick up in Virginia and you passed up and now you are admitting this on a message board? You are no fan - same for the other guy on this thread.

I live up here and very much enjoyed the game, even with all our mistakes. VCU fans got alot quieter once we started coming back and were worried as hell Skyler would win the game for us. And he almost did. Watching him play in person (which I've not been able to do) was something I'll always remember. He is a Tiger.

Ya'll aren't LSU Tiger fans...you should change your screen names.
