Possibly eliminating Oregon State in the postseason two years in a row, priceless.
Win or lose, never been up there and excited to see our boys play.
What about the ticket and weed cost?

Crater Lake, Mount Hood, Oregon Coast. Awesome.
Cannon Beach is 90 minutes due west of Portland. Go to Ecola.
Pumpkin Ridge is right off the highway, great track, Tiger won one of his US Amateurs there in 1996. They used to have a very affordable twilight rate, it stays light later than down here.
Bandon Dunes is a lot further south along the coast and is apparently one of the greatest golf courses in the country. I 've never played it. Expensive and hard to get to, but heard it is amazing.

Block 15 is a great place in Corvallis to hang out, if you like good beer and food. It's one of the best breweries anywhere. They have the brewpub downtown, and the production facility just outside of town (also has a taproom and sandwiches). Le Caves restaurant has a great tap/bottle list and good food, as well.

Go see Multnomah Falls.
...and Voodoo Donuts
The falls are really nice, although the wildfires last year really altered the landscape...take the old highway for the the best views. Continue on to the dam and hatchery to round out the trip.
I wouldn't go out of my way to visit Voodoo.

Another great drive would be to Central Oregon (Bend) or to Crater Lake.
the columbia river gorge looks interesting. what's the word on that?

Gorge is beautiful. Drive out to Hood River. You'll pass by Multnomah Falls on the way. I would cross over into Washington on The Bridge of The Gods and drive the rest of the way on the Washington side. You can cross back into Oregon on the Hood River Bridge. The views from both bridges are spectacular, and Mt Hood will fill your windshield as you drive into Hood River on the Hood River bridge.
There are many good restaurants in Hood River, as well as great breweries (IMO, the best brewery is pFriem). There will be a ton of people windsurfing and kite surfing on the Columbia River, and that is fun to watch/do.
From there, you can drive up to Mt Hood - you can even go skiing if you like. You can catch Hwy 26 back to Portland.

If I do pull the trigger and make the trip, what is the golf like in the area?
You can play Trysting Tree right there in Corvallis. Not Augusta, but it is where the Oregon State golf team plays. I believe it is under 50 bucks.

Walt, you're really a jerk.
I am not the K Lady and I don't wear jorts.
A while back I posted pictures of myself on here.
I suggest you try to find them.

Corvallis is a neat town, and pretty campus. Crater lake is cool, and if you go there keep coming down the mts to Beckie’s. Order a very berry pie with ice cream and thank me later.

Walt, I think you need to put the bottle down and go back to your AA meetings.
I think you're delusional and making stabs in the dark about who I am.
This is a very recent picture of me when I was on vacation 3 weeks ago on a submarine excursion.
Please note that I do not have long light kinky brown hair like the K Lady.
