Is an elephant smarter and more self aware than a Botswanan? And which should be sacrificed?

Should we sacrifice 23 Botswanan animals in exchange via an aircraft carrier off the coast? Think of all the stories of metal dragons they could tell later.

Pull any source of US “aid” for these clowns.

From a factual perspective, the sad thing is you’re right. No racism involved in that comment, just based on pure cognitive power, an elephants wins easily compared to the local population. On par with whales.

Botswana is one of the good SSA countries. It's really developing well.

Y'all are talking like it's the Congo or CAR

If you look at basically any metric of SOL or economic status, Botswana is high for SSA, possibly the highest combination of all of them.

It's #5 in PCGDP

It's 8th in the Human Development Index. LINK

Mauritius and Seychelles are #1 in both. They're island countries in the Indian Ocean. I'm not a geography expert but I don't think they're considered SSA. Regardless, they're tropical resort destinations.

Egypt isn't SSA. Algeria isn't SSA. Tunisia isn't SSA. South Africa is declining.

Gabon is an oil country (ranked ahead in both)

It's the rare well-run SSA country. It has wealth from certain resources, but that's usually a bad thing for SSA countries.

People who talk shite about Botswana like it's Congo or CAR are simply ignorant and/or retarded.

Wow you really are an annoying twat. I thought I was bad, but you really pick the other side just for the sake of arguing.

I hear Botswana needs their farmers back. You should go volunteer.

Botswana is a great country and awesome people. They had huge diamond deposits which helped the country's wealth compared to other African nations. There are a shite ton of elephants there

I posted data. People are ignorant to the handful of countries doing well in SSA. Botswana is one of the good ones that should be celebrated for its progress.

That's Zimbabwe, scholar.

Actually, a lot of the displaced white farmers from Rhodesia went to...Botswana

*Edit: I edited the 2nd use of Zimbabwe to Rhodesia

They keep improving with no real likely decline on the horizon. They are doing things the right way and improving. All of this negativity for a SSA country doing that is so weird.
