pretty lame that we are playing ULL out of state and even lamer that we're playing Texas State.

We need to get in on the SEC/Big12 thing in Dallas.

It does seem lame, but ULL and Texas St are also better than 90% of the big 12.

Just looked it up, it's not SEC/Big12 this year, but 2024 has Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Baylor, Oregon, Tennessee and Nebraska.

Much better field than Houston.

Thats denying the point that they have a good program and were near the top of their conference a couple other years in there. Hell, they were good in 2019, were gonna be pretty good in 2020, and were really good in 22, including going to that regional final. Sorry, but you cant expect us to get a non conference schedule that includes 3 games against texas, stanford, and north carolina every year

Playing ULL is pretty lame. Wish we could swap them for Vandy

Baylor and nebraska may be bigger names, but its very arguable that they are better programs than ull and texas st

Some serious strawman all over this post.

Texas State is a decent middle-of-the-pack mid-major program, they'd make a great midweek opponent for us.

Baylor is a pretty low tier big 12 program, so they are pretty much on equal footing in my eyes

Do you think baylor has been good at baseball recently?

Never said that, they have more talent than Texas State though.

Either way, they are prob close to equivalent, im excited to play that mediocre level of talent early in the season. Because the alternative at lsu has been playing butler and elon
