2021 baseball team

LSU that year went 13-17 in SEC play and got swept by Tennessee and Vandy. They went 0-1 in the sec tourney and were still put in a regional where they got hot and won after losing game one to Gonzaga. They lost to Tennessee who was arguably the best team in the country that year. All I’m saying is don’t count this team out. They have good players and if they can get hot… watch out.

Crews single handedly kept that team from being our worst one since the Smoke era. They had absolutely no business making it out of a regional.

We’ll find out a lot about this year’s team the next two weekends. Schedule is finally getting lighter. Maybe knowing that will light a spark for them.

I watched an NAIA vs D2 battle last night and wish our beloved LSU Tigers would play with the passion for the game those dudes have.

Dugas had a monster regional and SEC season. Landon Marceaux was also very good. Morgan hit almost .400 in SEC play that year, believe led the league in conference BA

It’s a bit presumptuous to think we would sweep anyone, however, in this hypothetical, 1 from Aggie, 1 from bama, 2 from ole miss…which seems more likely outcomes to me than actual sweeping mizzou and auburn.
