The coaches decided all year he was behind the two freshmen. With another offseason the gap will widen

That’s not star gazing.

The coaches will decide. Obviously this is best guess as to what will happen with another offseason. Anyone who thinks Curry is more talented than Emery hasn't been following much high school ball.

Only saw 1 tight end most of this year. Will be the same with Chase, Marhsall, McMath returning.

CB2:
Cordale Flott

I think Flott will make huge strides. He seemed raw this year but you could see the talent.

I get talent & stars, but the coaches started C2 over the 2 kids...IN THE CFB SEMI THAT IF YOU LOSE YOU GO HOME.

I agree that it’s not wise to sleep on Curry given his performance in the OU game, but let’s not forget that the other two are true freshmen and neither of them were early enrollees.

Spring camp, a full year with Moffitt, receiving drills over summer, etc. could make a huge difference. Given all of the matchup and substitution advantages we had with Clyde, I have to think the coaches are interested to see if any of the RBs turn into good route runners/pass catchers.

But I do think Curry will see significant PT one way or another - either rotating in throughout games or as our main short yardage guy.

ust like almost all year long people said Emery was better than CEH. Just let the coaches decide, and stop being a fricking star gazer.
I want Emery to feel like he was just a bystander this year, and in danger of falling out of the mix. I want him to take it seriously and push hard.

Because the other 2 are good, and he has the potential to be great.

Kinda curious if Marshall can pass Chase as top WR- before you roast me, remember they were about dead-even before the injury. I don't expect Chase to fall back, so that would mean Marshall would have to be phenomenal. Which, I think, is possible.

Kickoff:
Avery Atkins

I’m not sure why, but it feels like Avery Atkins is on his 7th year of eligibility.

Don’t rule out Stevens bulking and moving to LB(would add serious leadership to that position group as well, along with the talent)and Mo Hampton starting at safety(I’m excited to see this kid in a starting roll or at least lots of snaps). Outside of that, I can definitely see this being the actual depth chart. Curry will get a fair shake at quality reps as well though IMO.

Eric Monroe can’t really have more eligibility. He’s like John Battle.

I have a shite ton of confidence in Marshall. If he stays healthy, he'll have at least a 1200+yd season.

curry was the best looking rb in the spring game, he just wasn't a very good receiver. i think he's the best pure runner on the team.

Avery Atkins back is a big deal for me. No returned kicks next year.

I thought I saw Katy Vincent was gone. Maybe not.

Shocked Stevens decided to return. I don’t think he does it to be a LB. I think he wants #18 and on wall of DBU as Thorp Award winner which he could do.

Marshall gets #18 on offense if doing two now. Chase gets #7 if he wants it.
