Knoxville is my favorite of the road trips next season. We went last time and tailgated all day right on the Tennessee River down the street from Calhouns and Neyland Stadium. It was a great time.
Oxford would be second. We went in 2013 and 2015 and had fun, but The Grove is overrated. The women are amazing and you have to see the Grove at least once. We were shocked how late in the day a lot of the tailgating seemed to get started in the Grove.
We went to Starkville last season and actually had a blast. They did have Bulldog Bash going on in the Cotton District though, so maybe that had something to do with why it was such a great time.
Tuscaloosa....well I went in 2007, saw LSU won, and doubt I'll ever go back until Saban leaves.

That's a very strange schedule. If we don't start 5-0, I'm buying UH apparel.

It's Knoxville, not Bangor, Maine.

Man, the back half of that schedule is pretty brutal. Looking forwards to you guys coming to town. Being East Tennessee you never know what the weather will be like, it ranges from high 50s/low 60s to high 30s/low 40s though. That late in the season both teams should have their game plans/players figured out. Should make for a good match up.

would much rather have a home and home with BYU rather than amother bs neutral site game
I wouldn't have a problem going to Utah for a road game.
But we might not be able to do any tailgating on BYU campus - I don't know.

Have to win the 1st 5 to start the season or the 8 wins a year streak for the entire century is dead. Have to win the bowl game this year or the streak of 8 wins a year end this year.

It's my favorite SEC road trip. I've already told my wife we're going to Tennessee next year.

really that's a pretty manageable schedule with that home stretch and the bye

This is an odd LSU schedule. Tenneesse and auburn are LATE. Probably has something to do with us having two OOC P5 games.
Nah, Auburn on the road is usually early but at home has usually been late October. Last year was the only time that was moved up.
Tennessee late November is definitely weird though. We did play them early November in 2006 though.
The worst part to me is 4 OOC games in the first 5 weeks, leaving 7 straight SEC games. WTF is that about??? REC doing work
This is probably the worst schedule I can remember in quite some time.

Don't need a bye for bama until we get a new coach.

Change up to have Auburn a little later again.

I didn't even know this was coming up. I thought it was normally in October.

I want to take a trip to Knoxville for sure

Is Neyland worth the road trip? Maybe stay in the mountains somewhere?
Yes, The Vol Walk is not nearly as special as they think, but a 11/16 game should be good for leaves still, and the unique tail-boat-gating scene is nice.

Was in Knoxville when Tommy Hodson led us to a great victory!!!

As someone who lived there for 5 years I promise it will be cold as frick in Knoxville on Nov. 18
I'm in for the game regardless of the weather, while cold weather that day would favor UT, I didn't want the Tigers at even more of a weather-related disadvantage with the multiplier of precipitation on top of cold temps.
(To be clear: It's OK when weather-related advantages work FOR us at Tiger Stadium.)
