Reading the CBS NFL draft projections, it really makes a Tiger fan proud to see how many LSU players are ranked among the best NFL prospects. I have them listed below, but note that Lee is ranked higher than JJ.
Name / Pos. Ranking / Overall Ranking
QB Jarrett Lee /20 / 345
QB Jordan Jefferson / 22/ 403
WR R. Randle / 6 / 49
TE Deangelo Peterson / 6/ 133
Guard Blackwell / 25/ 421
Center T-Bob / 14 /308
CB Claiborne / 1 / 4
CB Brooks / 37 / 314
DT Brockers / 1 / 8
OLB Baker / 32/ 383
OLB Francois / 43 / 521
SS Taylor / 5 / 175
SS Hatcher / 22 / 501

That is 13 Tigers projected to be playing in the NFL next year. Link : LINK

I was interested in some Tiger Rant feedback on:
Besides the obvious, who will we miss the most?
Are any of these players over rated or under rated?
Which ones are likely to make an immediate impact in the NFL?
And...Pardon my ignorance (been out of the country for a month) but is Randle a def to leave as a junior?
Looking fwd to your feedback

Yes randle is gone. All those players have either graduated or declared for the draft early. As far as a late round steal from LSU, I would go with Ron Brooks

Well, that list is woefully out of date. No way is Randle behind Jeffery anymore. He is the guy we will miss the most, mainly because we have better replacements for Brockers and Claiborne.

32 teams x 7 rounds = only 224 picks. What am I missing here?

Also Jeff is doing very well at the combine so his stock will rise slightly. I see someone taking a chance on him.

I guess I thought that was understood...I agree with Brooks being a steal for some team. In the past, I have noticed that the Chiefs and Patriots like LSU players...could Randle fall far enough for the Patriots to get him...they need a WR. Who is overrated on this list...someone commented that T-Bob is overrated as the 14 rated center...but I am riding the fence on that one.

Could Claiborne, Brockers, Taylor, and Randle all be first rounders...DeAngelo is a second rounder I think after the Patriots proved the value of TEs this past season, but do not see him a first rounder and with five TEs ranked above him, he could fall to third or fourth rd.
Just wanted some feedback.

I have noticed JJ doing well at combine, but I just cannot see him drafted but someone picking him up as a FA....decision making, IQ, and off the field issues may hurt him.
Would love to see J.Lee pull at Matt Flynn, sit a few years behind a Brees or Brady, and flourish.
BTW...Cool to see Flynn a wanted man.

How's Lee doing at the combine? I keep reading about JJ, but nothing on Lee.

He's prob not doing good.
Sitting at home opening fan mail I'd guess.

As far as jj is concerned, good to see these NFL scouts picking up where espn and lesnmles left off on the hyping a player that hasn't done much to deserve it.
