Why don't we let our new QB get his 11th collegiate pass in before we start saying this?

Drew - I know you're testing me, but you meant "12th pass attempt in an FBS offense", right?

2001 was pretty damn good with Rohan and J. Reed, and Michael Clayton as a frosh

As a whole, especially in the trenches this team would beat that one by 2 td's. Of course there is no way of knowing.

That didn't stop us last year.

believe we have an offense which will be impossible to stop. That's right, I said "impossible".

The pieces are there. Just need to get the chemistry right.

IMO, '07 is the standard. '87 was a great O but took some games to get it together - Hodson, Wendell Davis, Rogie Magee, Moss, Kinchen (TE), Harvye Williams, Andolsek, Albergama, Norwood.

Simliarly, '01 (Rohan, Toefield/Davis, Josh Reed, Clayton) was great but took a few games to really get it together.

I have never seen such unbelievable talent/depth at O-Line or Running Back in the history of LSU!

both of our lines should be the strength of this team.

Plenty of talent at receiver in OBJ, JL & Shep, Boone, Magee.

we need a "big" receiver to step up....Boone, Wright and someone at TE are key to making space for OBJ, Jarvis, Shep and Magee.

And last but not least we have a real QB for the 1st time in many years who can read a blitz, check & go.

this remains to be seen. if our "real" qb can complete 65% of his passes with minimal picks then we should be able to control the rock...sustain drives...finish in the redzone...and, most importantly, keep our very young db's off the field.

this...bigtime.
