The D has been very good.
That 2011 D had more depth and high quality talent. Also back then the avg offense probably only scored 20-24 points vs now most decent teams are closer to 30. If I remember correctly at the Bama 9-6 game that had 42 draft picks with 21 each for LsU/Bama. That’s a very high bar.

No. That offense could run the ball and they were physical so thst as the game went on the offense was able to get going.

Lee was playing way better than Nuss to start the season.

Yes the 2011 team had a lot of short fields because of the defense and special teams. The point is they scored when given those opportunities. This Florida game where they got 5 picks was the type of game the 2011 team scores 40-50 points in.

You didn’t really watch the 2011 games did you? Until JJ returned from his suspension, and Les benched Jarrett Lee, the offense was scoring a LOT of points. And we weren’t playing the directional schools like LaTech on an equal basis, we curbed stomped them
