Good catch, observed the same. Based upon this alone the list is BS but there are many other issues.

According to the final rankings after the bowls, 2011 LSU beat #1 on the road (first time we faced them), #4 at a neutral site, and #5 at home - during the regular season. That's the final ranking, not during the year.

Unlike you, I've backed up my stance with data that is simply irrefutable. Instead of admitting defeat, you kept running your mouth, so I will call you a moron as many times as you keep replying to this thread. You've earned it, you fricking dummy.

That's ridiculous. LSU 2011 was the consensus #1 team in the nation throughout most of the regular season, and thoroughly dominated every opponent except for BAMA. And that included a few powerhouses, notably Oregon, West Virginia, Florida, Auburn, Arkansas (ranked #3 with only a loss to Bama entering that game), and Georgia.
The irony of LSU's omission from the Top 50 list, is that if the 13-0 Tigers had opted out of the NC game, or played any other opponent than a Saban-coached, revenge-minded Bama team, 2011 LSU would likely be remembered as the greatest college football team of all time, given its record and level of performance against one of the most brutal schedules ever.
