Good job buddy!
This is the crap that needs to go on this board. Being negative about one of our players isn't cool or funny.

Looks like our hitting will be weak again.

its not THAT much better. I've watched USC and FL in the tourny, and to see that we used to have hitters like this pisses me off. We have taken a major dive in our hitting. We used to have 9 "mahtooks" in our lineup almost every year
This is comical. If you look at some of Tanner's early CSW teams, especially the teams when Landon Powell played (2001-2003?) you will find the 2011 USC team pales in comparison offensively, but Tanner didn't win one, much less two, CWS championships with those squads. Those early CWS USC teams could rake. You could point to guys getting timely hits like LSU has in the past, but the cheap dinger power isn't there for any team and it's not coming back.
No college baseball team has ever had the equivalent of 9 MM's, they would be fortunate to have 2 considering his all around athleticism combined with his consistent hitting/SLG.
Regarding the wood bats taking an additional 25 points off BA's, I am not buying that as the 2011 season numbers should already have had 25-30 points off due to the new bats and they are not much different production-wise from wood. That is poor hitting no matter how one chooses to look at it, maybe it is due in-part to facing quality pitching, but it sure needs to improve or LSU better become the masters of small ball and great defense.

I think our starting pitching can hang with anyone.
FIFY, I think you can blame a few losses on the bullpen

Those numbers are completely unacceptable for our baseball team. Once again, the pitchers will get the shitty end of the deal.
With that said, I do hope they get it turned around

Edward has turned things around and is actually having a decent Summer. He is now the leading hitter on his team.

Don't see any current at bats for Jacoby Jones. Anyone know why?

someone please tell me how jackson slaid is hitting bad they guy has a 325 avg what do u gotta do to gey props around here jesus!

Jackson Slaid is doing great this summer. He reminded me a lot of Micah Gibbs in the way he framed pitches and setup for his pitchers. Wish he would get more chances . He certainly puts forth more effort behind the plate.
