Cotton looking good also this summer. Looks like our pitching is going to be jaw dropping next year.

What's the reason for mahtook and other high draft picks to not play? Avoid injury?
Posted on 6/24/11 at 12:24 pm to CajunFootball
Mahtook has nothing to gain by playing
Ranaudo played cape last year to get mid first round money rather than supplemental money

I don't read a whole lot into these hitting stats in summer leagues. I know players like Katz and Jones can hit because I saw them do it last year.
Posted on 6/24/11 at 12:54 pm to AstroTiger
Good pitching will beat good hitting any day. I think the pitchers are just killing it out there.

Just proves that guys like Lowery and Slaid should get a shot next year

Pitching maybe dominating the league, but gee whiz, this is not encouraging at all.

He has only played one game. Anyone know if he is injured again?

How about Joe Broussard don't see that he has pitched any this summer. Forrest Garrett has not pitched since the 17th had a great first 2 outings. Does anyone know the status on these players

How did you find that? That league and his team's website are both terrible.
