Lot of koolaid drinkers seem to have forgot how terrible the team was at times last. Also noticed last week the OLnsavior Ben Wilkerson was on the sidelines last yr as well for all the good it did. And I don't get how anyone can say lsu will have a great defense so assuredly after rewatching some of these games

Ben Wilkerson was not on the sidelines last year. He came in the spring.

This is really weird, considering quarterbacks USUALLY improve

State is basically playing a nickel on first and ten.

Take away the punt return and Peterson's pick six and it would have been hard for LSU to win with just 16 on the board.

Yes but we were able to move the ball easily, we just had no consistency. There was also a missed FG.

16 yards rushing...unf'ingbelievable.

Miles knows more than rantards, I trust the coaches, so forth and so on.

I've decided to play the denial game too...those that do seem to be worried a lot less.

2nd and Goal on the MS State 5 yard line and we're in a 5-wide because we can't run the ball.

But our offense is all Jefferson's fault.

Didn't Wilkerson play in the UFL last year?

EDIT: He did, but apparantly didn't sign until October, which was after this game.

UFL Signing

He may not of been an official GA but he was on the sidelines ar the team and coaches dressed like the rest of the staff. Rewind ur dvr to TH's long return in this game. BW caught him as he ran out of bounds into lsu's bench.

At the end of the third quarter:

LSU Rushing: 16 yards

LSU Passing: 215 yards and 2 TDs

Wow, that Jefferson kid is terrible.

that's fine I'm just telling you he wasn't helping out at practice or anything last season, in fact a few calls had to be made to even get his GA position. I'm not even arguing his presence is going to be the saving grace of our OL, he will help though
