La-"butterfingers"-Fell dropped a wide open pass in his hands that would have kept the first drive alive, and as we all know only one more score of any kind and we win that game.

a ball that he had to stop and come back to because it was badly underthrown

I could swear it was Zinger. I remember being pissed b/c we used our blocking TE to catch and our receiving TE to block. I could be wrong, though.

Zinger is correct. Game. Set. Match if he catches that.

I missed a decent offensive coordinator.

Didn't we break offensive records AND win a NC that year?

Flynn was off.
Hester was a non factor.
Zinger dropping TD
Tyson Jackson goes Predator on the QB, gets a penalty
Charles Scott goes all Herschel Walker in the first half, never sees the field in the 2nd half
Les Miles and Gary Crowton brain fart
Game over.

Zinger dropped the TD. Also, Chevis Jackson got hurt and they went right after Jai Eugene. But, there were many other factors included Scott going 5 rush, 92 yds, 2 TDs. Miles said after the game that he wished they could have gotten the ball to Scott more. I'll remember that statement even if I come down with amneezy.

It was terrible playcalling. They couldn't stop the run so we continue to pass? That was a terribly coached game. It all goes back to playcalling. I love how the LAST PLAY we put in Doucet as a bluff (I believe he was injured and hadn't played all game). Wow, lets bluff with a player in tripple over time that hasn't set foot on the field all game, that will make them think we are passing instead of running . That was a pitifully coached game, hands down, no questions asked. Coaches lost that game.

Yep.

This was poor job of personel decisions. Dickson catches that and likley anyone else would have, too. Saban putting in Joe Domingeaux instead of Edwards or David Jones would have been similar in that situation. Zinger was a blocker and nothing more. He was one of the least effective catching TE's I have seen at LSU.
