Sure was loud when it was only 79,000 with one upper deck. It’s so weird seeing the stadium before all the expansions.

I think the rule changes to encourage offense have made it nearly impossible to play defense. LSU, UF, and Bama have terrible defensive stats this year. We took advantage of it last year, but I personally wish the rules would return to this era.

. Agreed. It was awesome. I was there with my late father. Great memories. Living here in Gator country it was mighty sweet seeing just how devastated the Gator fans were for that loss. They were just coming off of their first NC season, and we’re on a long win streak- getting themselves established as a big time football power and figured they were on their way to a back to back title, and boom this happened. This loss derailed all that. They only lost to UGA the rest of that season but Gators fans were remiss at what could have been.
