It's not the play calling, jefferson is not capable of running plays, Who is the most important player on field , QB even in high school, college or pro
This!!
When you have a quarterback who cannot execute a game plan, who cannot read a defense to save his soul, who cannot go through his progressions, who buckles under the slightest pressure, and is terribly inaccurate, it somewhat limits your play calling options.

The o-line needs to stop throwing the ball at receivers' feet.

Click over to the gumps playing on ESPN, if you want to see a well coached team execute.

While the oline is bad, it starts with JJ.
Maybe. But I'd argue that if this team could run the ball worth a shite, JJ could probably just manage the game, try not to screw up and get the ball to his playmakers and see what happens.
Our running game is just abysmal and I'm not sure how how that happens w/ a HC who played OL in the freaking Big 10.

Jordy just said that during the Offensive Coaches halftime meeting, Crowton left the meeting early and pulled Lee to the side.
Maybe there is hope. A want for change perhaps?

Miles tenure will be defined by his lack of finding/developing a good to great QB. He was fortunate to have Flynn already here. If he loses his job it will be because he could not do this.

We have a real want to have a good play option skill. Our uh team enjoys the opportunity to option play and we enjoy coaching it and that's what we plan to do. We believe in what we are calling! And I can tell you that young quarterback is talented and capable. This team is special group of men, they enjoy an opportunity to succeed In the zone read and I like the opportunity to call it.

Hey, if we pitch shutouts every game, we got a 50-50 shot at going unbeaten!
