I remember I didn’t have a pot to piss in and bought 2 tickets on the credit card sold one for enough to cover the other and 100 spending money.

It was stressful cause I sold on Ebay and the guy tried to bail last minute. I threatened litigation like I knew what I was doing and he sent the money right away. Haha

On the secondary market I paid $500 a piece I believe. Big money when your cash poor

Yeah, I was only 13 at the time but I remember my parents thinking the secondary market was insane for that game. We had a big watch party at our house.

They would kill to find $500 tickets today

Would have been worth every penny no matter what. At that time who knew we would be back 3 more times.

Damn solid 20 years to say the least..

That was the last game my dad watched as a Tiger fan. He loved him some LSU.
