2007 still the most exciting college football season ever.

Even if you take off the P&G glasses

Sat with Kathy Miles at that game. Super nice lady. Her husband got a million dollar a year raise for winning that game.

Eh, I wouldn't call Missouri's loss an upset. Oklahoma had defeated them earlier in the season and was favored to beat them again, which they did.

West Virginia's loss, on the other hand? Probably the most devastating loss in CFB history when everything is taken into account, with Kansas State's loss in the 1998 Big 12 CCG either 1A or a very close 2nd.

That was a crazyass season. Missouri and West Virginia getting upset for LSU to sneak in the championship game. The whole Miles to Michigan fiasco. Mass chaos.

I remember opening with Virginia Tech after they had that shooting on campus that claimed like 32 lives. My buddy and I decided AGAINST making a gameday sign that said "and you thought 4/16 was a massacre....."

It was a weird season fo sho. 2 losses in overtime. that's gotta be relatively uncommon in itself.

also . anyone remember if we were ever down to Oklahoma in 2003? didn't remember being down to OSU. definitely remember being down to Clemson but unworried.

You would have had a hard time getting out of Tiger Stadium alive if you had made that sign. LSU showed a lot of class that night dealing with that tragedy.
