Incredible football game. Tiger Stadium achieved a new record for decibel strength after Hester's late TD, which was again shortly eclipsed with Tebow's Hail Mary misfire.

That was an AWESOME football game! It deserves top billing for sure amongst many others. I agree w fellow rantards on the greatness of the Auburn game where Byrd caught the TD w 1 second left and also the 1997 improbable "W" over #1 Fla. where we tore down the goal posts and grabbed some of the field for posterity. I was there and it was an unbelievable atmosphere from the kickoff to the storming of the field after the final seconds ticked off the clock. 2018 "W" over mighty Georgia was a good one recently as well. Hope the same is in vogue on Sat. morning. Enjoy the game!

2000 v Tennessee was the most improbable ever, coming a week after the shocking UAB loss, and Tennessee players badmouthing Tiger Stadium and dismissing any "home field advantage" for LSU

I thought this was going to be about the Florida game in 97. It was my sophomore year. Nothing will ever beat that night.

Earthquake Game

The play
Auburn led 6–0 with less than two minutes left in the 4th quarter. LSU's quarterback Tommy Hodson drove the team down the field before throwing an 11-yard touchdown pass to Eddie Fuller on 4th down.

The game's name resulted from the reaction of the crowd after the final pass, which registered as an earthquake by a seismograph located in LSU’s Howe-Russell Geoscience Complex around 1,000 feet (305 m) from the stadium. The seismograph reading was discovered the morning after the game by LSU seismologist Don Stevenson and student worker Riley Milner.
