Too bad that team couldn’t give UCLA a good game. It was a nice NCAA run

Great squad. George Mason was also in that final 4. What a Cinderella story for that program.

Time flies. I was the age you are now with that 2006 team. I go back to the Rudy, Scales, Cookie man, and Hi-C days.

You will feel even older if you remember the Philadelphia final 4 trip LSU vs Indiana
Well the oldest will remember the first final 4 trip to Kansas City (pre video ;-) they had cameras, so here is a picture

I was in Indy for it. That was a humiliating loss. The only good thing to happen was I sold my Finals tickets to a Florida fan for as much as I paid for the two-game package.

One of my favorite sports teams ever. Me and a buddy actually were some of the only students there for the first round in Jacksonville. High fives with the family of D Mitch after he hit that shot against the aggies. Such a great time!

What happened in the UCLA game?

I never understood why we played so poorly in that game.

Defensively we did good, but we couldn't buy a basket.

I think Brady has commented that they let the celebration from winning in Atlanta linger too far into the week. We basically got punched in the mouth in the 1st half, played a lot better in the 2nd half, but it was too late.

Yep me too, we only lost by 12 but it seemed like 30 our offense struggled so mightily to even execute a pass.

That was a great time.
When mitchell hit the 3 to beat A&M. It was great.
