Both Trent Johnson and Johnny Jones (of course for LSU fans) had much more name recognition than Wade.

You are struggling to understand I don't care about basketball lol. My life continues just fine if LSU basketball wins all games or loses all games. My life does not revolve around LSU sports. I just find it fricking hilarious that everyone acts this way for a coach.

Wade fired himself. He did illegal things pre-NIL and the NCAA had the basketball program AND THE FOOTBALL program in it's gun sights. Woody was not gonna let Wade damage the football program, and he absolutely did the right thing at the time. You guys can't reinvent history, sorry.

You also continue to make the asinine statement that "no one is knocking down the great Will Wade's door to hire him", when it's obvious to anyone who can think rationally that schools are waiting for the show cause to expire to inquire about him.
He'll be at another power 4 school shortly, and he'll win there just like everywhere he's been.
How crazy of me (and others as LSU fans), to want a winner back here who should have never been let go!!! MANY OTHER SCHOOLS have demonstrated how weak the NCAA has been over the last 20ish years. Has the NCAA EVER won a court case??? They've lost PLENTY of them.
What would they truly do to a name brand like LSU, when they've looked the other way,and just slapped the wrist on so many others??? They wouldn't have done a damned thing if we had handled the NCAA properly. Like schools WITH BALLS do.
