How in the hell is he still going to Guidry in high leverage situations like that? Bro been serving up more dongs than Johnny Sins. Can’t be mad at Guidry when everybody watching except for CJJ and CNY knows what he is going to do. We finna get swept. SAD!

Where have you been????? Jay already took “THE BLAME” and admitted he went after the wrong guys in the portal and needs to do better recruiting and keeping his young players, where the frick do you part time fans come from? You can be mad at Guidry for leaving shite hanging over the fricking plate! JJ can’t throw the ball for them!

So because Jay admitted he blew the portal, he’s oblivious to getting criticism for obvious mistakes like tonight?? Guidry in that spot, against this team, in this park, was a terrible call. Guys who consistently hang pitches in a launching pad against the team that leads the country in home runs is a terrible call.
Having said that I personally would not trade Jay Johnson for any coach in college baseball. But this year has been bad.

It’s definitely on Jay because he most likely ( I’m not 100% sure) goes with what our pitching coach picks/suggest. Now anybody that has coached at the college level could fill us in on who really makes the pitching change decision. We also know they go with data on their picks, I don’t know why they went with Guidry. I like Cowan better , but I’m not sure what their strategy was for this weekend and maybe had Cowan for tomorrow. To be a fly on the wall.

You have 3 games to scrap together pitching. If you haven't noticed, this team is decimated by injuries. There's not a lot he's going to be able to do in these scenarios when you're already scraping the bottom of the barrel. You do realize he has to have a setup for game 2 and 3 right?
