Well......it took him a while to get there didn't it? He tried pointing elsewhere for a bit, but when that started to not play very well he pivoted.
But yes - he finally took responsibility. But that game still played out like every game of the State series. Whether it was portal pitchers, freshman pitchers or returning pitchers, we can't seem to find any who can close out a game.

Did he pull Schmidt too soon? I didn’t see the beginning of the game. Guidry was not a good choice there.
