We’ve been wanting for years and years a real coach to build a blue blood basketball program at LSU. Therefore, the last month has been the board in anxious waiting, itching for Wade to be reinstated without consequence.

HE IS! So we ride.

The last almost decade has been the board calling for Alleva’s head. He sucks and we’ve known it for years. Almost feels like nothing could be done though.

Guess what? He steps down. We freakin’ RIDE!

Honestly we’d take almost anyone over Alleva. We almost expect LSU to painstakingly replace him with some lame disappointment. Our absolute DREAM would be for them to replace him quickly with our #1 candidate of Scott Woodward.

Which we do. SO WE FREAKIN RIDE BAWS

ITS A PIPE DREAM COME TRUE, LETS PARTY! CUZ LSU STACKED AND SEC FKED. WE COMIN AND WE AINT BACKIN DOWN.

That is all.

Football season hasn’t even started yet and what happened today already gives me the feeling I had in the 2000’s. This day will be remembered for a long time. This is what we have been waiting for. Time to enjoy the frick out of it.

A leader with vision, willingness, and a pair of steel nuts. Mediocrity will be far from the expectation for the foreseeable future.

Exactly. LSU is about to be on top for a long time. I fricking dare Alexander to poke his nose into Woodward’s business. I fricking dare him. He’ll be the next one run out of town if he even thinks about it.

I have hated Alleva for years. Way before the major backlash, before the Les Miles debacle. Today exceeded my wildest expectations. It is one thing for our administration to fire Alleva, but to also have the foresight to line up Woodward? Is it sad that as a whole, that would have never even occurred to me as something our administration could do? Plan out and execute such a thing?

It was vocal and persistent efforts by fans, and efforts by big money donors to make this happen. Never forget the power of the people.

It has been beyond depressing to witness the apathy and complacency slowly building amongst the fan base.

Terrible coaching "searches", terrible administrative decisions, terrible game day experience due to game day event changes and concessions. Watching schools like Florida, Alabama, aTm reach out and grab what they want while we promote from within because "it was the plan all along" (ftr I think O is doing well right now but Ensminger would have been alligator food before the end of 2019 if Brady hadn't been hired to help him modernize).

I'm trying not to play into some of the negative games going on in tRant right now, because this still feels like a dream.

If you would have told me on January 1st this year that our AD in April would be Scott MF'in Woodward, I may have shite myself to death laughing.

We got a real, actual home run hire for our AD, and this guy is coming home and in it for the long haul. This is likely the most outwardly brilliant hire I've seen in my 30+ years as an LSU fan. I'd grown so accustomed to the LSU Admin fricking up everything, that I am still trying to grasp the gravity of how ridiculously huge this move is.

This is my current situation in a nutshell, but, damn, I’m happy to be dealing with it at the moment!
