Worst mistake?
A lot of decisions did not result in the ultimate goal, which is a national championship.

Man don’t put these two in the same breath.
GD brought back the magic, even if it didn’t last.
We had some great wins and he left Saban a TON of talent. No ill will for that man

Wrong, love him or hate him he assembled the greatest of all time roster in CFB history and brought a national championship and Heisman winner to LSU.
Can't take that away from him, good fortune or not he was our head coach.
Now I still know guys who lament firing him, as if any coach in the SEC would withstand two 6-6 seasons following a national title not to mention all the other extra curriculars.

I sat in the upper deck of that game vs. Missouri using a friend’s ticket. I was around a bunch of Mizzou fans. A Tiger fan was walking up the aisle with jambalaya and a Mizzou fan behind me remarked, “Wow! I didn’t know they had shrimp fried rice here!”
