That actually sounds fair. Any team with James Worthy and Michael Jordan would be tough to beat.

One question - did the LSU team have Ben Simmons? I actually like our chances if Simmons is one of the starting 5. That could alter the outcome. And if we're talking about full teams, I still think Stanley Roberts is a huge match-up problem for anyone at the PF spot. I doubt he was considered on anyone's mythical team.

Believe me, I bleed p&g, but I think you have to admit dean smith held jordan's individual game down for team success.

Jordan himself admits he didn’t become the Jordan everyone thinks of until a few years into the league.

he was incredibly talented of course, but he had to actually “learn” how to be the best. Something that took place after his college career was over.

NBA careers and accomplishments mean nothing to this debate.
We’re talking college level talent if they played each other.

What? We have the best college player ever. And prob the 2nd best shooter ever and the best big man ever.

Leave it to a Yankees fan to know nothing about sports as a whole.

You would think whoever does marketing for LSU basketball would be all over this, but I guess they aren't interested.

That team would rebound at a 70% clip vs. any other team in history. Don’t care who you have no one is getting out rebounded like they would against LSU and winning.

Someody told me that a dude named Cassius Clay was the greatest boxer of all time. I looked and didn't even see that dude in the boxing hall of fame.

Kind of thought LSU would beat UCONN by 10 percentage points at least. Looks like the voting is 50-50 after 7,600 votes.

Don't let the Huskies show up The Rant!

I doubt a lot of voters even look at the rosters. They probably just vote for the better program in recent years.

they were incredible college players who could dominate at that level.

wow, thats some great players. I do think LSU is right up there, but it would be hard to say LSU would beat UCLA.

Macklin and Pettit was before my time or before I took an interest in it. Shaq, Chris Jackson and Maravich have to be three of the greatest players in NCAA history, if you consider what they did in both college and in the NBA. Shaq more so then Maravich and Jackson.

This is about how I’d see it go down. Program success and history obviously leans towards a handful of teams, but LSU’s all time is stacked. No weaknesses with several of the NCAA’s best of all time. They’d compete against anyone and beat 95% of them. There’s like 2-3 teams tops that could MAYBE beat LSU.

Depends on the brackets, but given what you said LSU/UCLA is a pickem. UNC vs either of those two would be down to the wire too
