I think I was more nervous tonight than during the football game. 
And yes, we will deserve at least 10 years worth of shoe jokes.

Recorded it and I'm just finishing it up. That is a tough pill to swallow considering the lead we had going into the floor routines.
Not sure what the general opinions were here but I thought the judges were really inconsistent tonight for both sides.
I'd really like to see a full meet from Kiya.

You guys I remember watching Nationals a few years ago. I think it was one of the years when Oklahoma won. Kathy Johnson Clarke stated that championship teams don’t count scores less than 9.85. That was really the difference in the meet. LSU had to count a 9.75 on floor. There lies the difference. Not sure why I remembered KJC saying that but I guess she was right.

I had accepted LSU was going to win after holding that lead the entire meet. Still pretty shocked at the ending.
That was very entertaining and gripping. Naturally that’s what you get when both are elite programs. I’ve been to some LSU meets against smaller colleges, and the talent gap between them and elite schools like LSU is vast.
Gators are very fortunate to have Trinity Thomas on the team.

I disagree with that. Or maybe I just refuse to have that attitude. Yes, sometimes scores are head scratchers. But no way do I believe that LSU can’t win a natty because of judges’ bias.

On floor we need girls who we expect to land their tumbling passes, and if/when they don’t, it’s a shock (as we saw with Haleigh last night). We don’t need to put girls out there who we expect to make a mistake, and if/when they don’t, it’s a shock.
