It is the right game, I was there as well and remember Jabari's dunk very clearly. It was last play of the first half and we went ballistic. Once of the greatest dunks by a big man I've ever seen live.

LSU played top 5 Arizona in 1999-2000 and #1 Arizona in 2002-2003. This is the 2002-2003 game without Stro or Smith. Try to keep up.

See second highlight about 10 secs in

LSU played Arizona twice at home.

The game you're talking about is the 2000 game. Jabari was a senior in 2000.

vs. Grambling earlier in the year. That Arizona dunked was timed right at the buzzer.

Thanks for posting the video. You should change the title and description, though, to something that is more likely to be used in a search. (ie: Arizona vs LSU basketball 2002)

No the glory days were the mid 80's early 90's under Dale Brown.

People going nuts over the lil jabari smith dunk never saw Shaq completely clobber 2-3 defenders at a time with one of his big gorilla monkey donkey kong dunks.

Never saw Chris Action Jackson routinely light up the scoreboard for 40 and sometimes 50+ points. Or the shootout between Chris Jackson and Gerald Glass.

Or the Vernel Singleton coming baseline smashing one in over someone.

I could go on and on. Those dale squads generated more crowd noise than any brady era squad did. I went to many games under both coaches and loved the Stro show too, but Dale's teams were magical.

I remember the classics LSU vs Loyola Marymount or LSU vs Duke or LSU vs UNLV. Back when you could play defense and players could actually shoot the ball. I miss those times dearly.

I was there. I had to take a dump and couldn't hold it anymore. I came out and ran to the tunnel right as we clinched it and ran on to the court.
