That's true. That's why I said hopefully he will get there in time. Maybe that's one reason he appears unsettled because he thought they would be in a different spot at this point.

He knew exactly what they would be at this point. He spent the entire offseason preaching patience from the fanbase for a reason.

The fact that a loud contingent of you didn’t listen and lose your shite when you don’t get instant gratification is a you problem, not a Kiffin problem.

I didn’t get to see the game but those numbers would lead me to believe LSU win easily. It’s really hard to believe that they got blown out.

Well, since you seem to know more than him, he said in his postgame today that he didn't expect to have three losses at this point in the season. I really hope things work out and he is a very successful coach here, but their is really no excuse for what happened today. Going out and getting your arse handed to you by the other team is one thing, but what happened today is a loss that just gnaws at you.

Well the lopsided stats don’t prove this was bad coaching. Clearly there were plays to be made. The players, esp the QB, have to make plays. Sam needs to spot open receivers.

He also said before the season that this would be a tough season to make the playoffs. He also said this would be the worst roster they will have here.

I actually listened to him. Maybe you should have done the same.

Well, it should definitely get easier for him in the future when it goes to 24 teams, huh?!?

Probably so. Since he made those comments in the offseason I don’t see how that’s relevant.

Keep melting though.

It’s one of the stranger games I can ever remember watching. It’s why I’m not even mad.

This is how I felt about the Kentucky game. Offense dominated but Kentucky got a fluky 14 points off a busted run fit and a special teams collapse and it kept them in the game long enough to catch us at the end.

Tonight we moved the ball well but every time we needed a step up play from the offense they got swallowed by Bama's defense. That, especially the red zone failures, felt more like a trend than catching some bad breaks.

He deserves most of the criticism he is getting. I’m just personally giving him a mulligan for his first season. I don’t expect anyone else to though.

Far from melting, cat! Been around too long and seen enough LSU football over the years to melt anymore. I'll keep pulling for them, as always. Losses to Bama do seem to hit a nerve a lot more than others, though.

Some of these pussies will still have excuses ready for when we can’t even sniff top 24.
