But you have to have a decent quarterback.

We don't have to accept shite. 13 million per year means results are expected immediately now. This was always going to be an extremely tough game though. How LSU looks so far though is really bad. The coaching hasn't been good either.

There is no such thing anymore.

There’s nothing obvious that he’s an improvement over what we had. And the biggest issue is you paid $54 million, on top of what Lane is getting, to put this product on the field.
It’s absolute financial mismanagement

of course there is, people expect instant gratification but it’s usually not realistic

People can say what they want but it’s absolutely a program rebuild.
Now a lot of money was invested to get the rebuild off to a super fast start, but many picked lsu to lose 3-4 games this year, and with the way this one is going that feels spot on.
One loss doesn’t wreck a season anymore. LSU still has the schedule to make it to the playoffs.
We’re all just disappointed because it was “us vs the world” and were seeing what a team playing for more than money can do to another team.

In the age of NIL rebuilding years don’t exist. You get 50 million to build a competitive roster from day one. The guys we have on the field aren’t that good, especially the OL.

No there isn’t.. you don’t build classes and stack rosters anymore. They leave and transfer no matter what.

still can’t expect playoff in year 1. You can hope for it, but not expect it.
