Not an opener but this is the most dominant game in Death Valley since 2019 Texas A&M

VT was 7 I think.
Oregon was 3.
Great night but lets keep it in perspective.

Out of the three games, tonight is the time when the 3d string QB got to play. Can anyone remember the last time an LSU played 3;QBs in a game.

Got a lot of VT 2007 vibes from this game

I was at that 2003 Arizona game. Me and some fellow Army OBC classmates drove from Fort Bliss to watch it. I expected us to win but had no idea what kind of a beat down we would be witnessing. I don’t know how their quarterback survived. I remember the LSU cheerleader doing a push for every point scored every time we scored, thinking he must be getting tired. Funny that an LSU cheerleader was interviewed about the same topic tonight. Talk about Deja Vu.

Not really.
Both Va Tech and Oregon came here highly ranked, both top ten. Tech fell off, Oregon kept it till the end.
This Clemson team came in unranked because they developed even more question marks after the wheels fell off last year.
Tonight was great, things look promising, but I’d rather avoid projecting a square peg in a round hole.
Come back after a win, or even a blowout, from Ole Miss

I had a similar experience. I went with one of my Army buddies that I had served with at Polk and Sill. We were both out at the time. He was looking forward to getting revenge from the LSU/AZ basketball game a couple years earlier!
After the game his departing words were I'll never watch an AZ/LSU sporting event with you again!
