We go up 28-24 and this is a completely different ball game. Completely take all momentum in the game, suck the life out the stadium, put the pressure all back on them

Instead they stop us and get a little momentum back on their side, and the rest is history

Say what you want about Leavitt and passing, but he’s picking up 2 yards on the ground there idc

i hated that play call but we left a lot of points on the field besides this one.

We were shook in the first half.

I'm pretty sure Jones was supposed to lateral the ball to Clark and froze. Clark would have walked in.

Nah. We pushed their asses the first play we ran out of that formation. We damn sure didn’t have a better chance throwing it there.

Bakers game planning and first half play calling costed us the game. And OM’s 30 year old QB going bonkers.

I agree

Taking the lead instead of equalizing would have put massive pressure on all of Ole Miss

This is unironically one of the few moments I actually want Sam Leavitt on the field. Spread it out and let him get the 2 yards.

The play call was Les Miles type shite. Equivalent of having JJ frick us over with his inability to pass, only to switch out to Jarett Lee for a run play he's not involved in.

No we lost when we let them go down the field in just over a minute to end the first half with no timeouts. That was the end and it was just too big a hole to overcome.

Tbe defense in the first half just didn't show up.

But we did overcome it and tied the game, but could have take the lead with a better play call there.

Correct. Lane mentioned it in his presser. If we wouldn’t have lost a yard, we were going for it.

We tied it and then gave up the lead right after.

Giving up that score before half meant that we needed to play basically a perfect second half to win. That just isn't realistic.

We played a hell of a second half and lost a close one but it wasn't perfect. I just can't put any blame on the second half.
